    While Thunderbird does support RSS feeds, and is a functional FOSS solution on desktop OSes, it lacks many of the features found in Feedly & I'd hesitate to recommend it as an alternative.

    it's not focused just in feedly but accepts various services, the interface is clean and it's fast. Haven't tried all of the other options to decide if it's the best out there though
