JohnFastman Inoreader allows you to subscribe to RSS feeds, read and sync what you've read, star favourites, organize using folders and tags and they have a very good mobile app. It's a very close run thing with Feedly, but I've used both and stuck with InoReader. It is a good alternative.

NinjaHow Out of all the rss readers i have tryed and seen. Inoreader is the best. Not perfect long way from it. But it do have filters, rules, highlights, shortcuts. And way more customization than feedly. And as a person who must remove bad content from my feeds. Inoreader is a must. Also not to hard to use.

intp While Thunderbird does support RSS feeds, and is a functional FOSS solution on desktop OSes, it lacks many of the features found in Feedly & I'd hesitate to recommend it as an alternative.

it's not focused just in feedly but accepts various services, the interface is clean and it's fast. Haven't tried all of the other options to decide if it's the best out there though
