I used FastStone applications which are very helpful.
Furthermore, I specially to talk about KrojamSoft PhotoViewerPro which is also very easy to use along with great features.

Have not found a better FULL-SCREEN viewer yet. It can start in full-screen; it's easy to scroll and zoom; it shows file info when you move the mouse to the right corner; it shows the menu bar when you hover mouse above; it allows you to close the program by moving mouse to top-right and clicking.
Fast to start - easy to use. NICE!

The more well known software always get the votes, but here's my two cents on MaxView – this is some of the reasons why I prefer MaxView over Picasa:

-The Picasa indexing has flaws, and besides, I'm no fan of indexing. I know where I have my photos on my HDD.
-MaxView is somewhere around 500–1000 % faster than Picasa to browse RAW-images, because it uses the JPEG-preview, rather than rendering a new RAW-preview for each and every image.
-In MaxView it's actually easy to configure a default photo editor. In Picasa it's a pain.
-MaxView is way easier to configure than Picasa.
