Locate32 is software which can be used to find files from your harddrives and other locations. It works like updatedb and locate commands in Unix based systems. In other words, it uses databases to store information about directory structures and uses these databases in searches.

Pros: doesnt need to index, fast, open source. Cons: doesn show indicator of how many files are selected, also doesnt sort properly as the folders and files are mix-shown no matter how clicking on the sort by name, also doesnt have rename button in the context menu when you right click on a file. These are very unfortunate cons as I really loved its fast and indexless work
