Comment summary: DownThemAll is highly praised for its functionality as a powerful browser-based download manager, compatible primarily with pre-Quantum versions of Firefox. Users appreciate features like media downloading across tabs and speed acceleration. However, there are concerns about its compatibility with newer Firefox versions and occasional interface issues. It is noted for ease of use, yet some users point out it's not as proficient as competitors in certain scenarios like content detection.

Much as this can be installed in pre-57 FireFox and spin offs, it has a convoluted interface, is not directly accessible, and has quite often mistakes origin web pages for links to actual files sought.

I greatly appreciate the ability to download media across all open tabs. You can filter matches by file extensions or regular expressions - great for sites with junk files with the same image extension.

It's not as good as Jdownloader when it comes to detecting web content, but is surprisingly fast.
