The Windows setup for everyone (with freeware only) Will make Windows suck less
This is the apps for Windows 11 that I would recommend to anyone who just got a PC !
The same list for
macOS :
Linux kernel (GUI apps only) :
The linux setup for everyone (freeware with GUI only and distro recommendations)
THIS LIST HAS BEEN DELETED DUE TO A BUG, SO IT MISSES SOME HONORABLE MENTIONS !
I've been using Linux for a year now. I do use CLI tool and the terminal but I'm super used to GUI and I do understand why you might don't want to bother with Terminal and stuff ! Here is my list of useful tools for beginners on Linux !
The same list for
macOS :
Windows 10 :
Linux MUSTS (Almost All Nice & Modern UI/UX)
A simple list of Applications I use daily, hopefully you haven't seen all of these before. But, in this list you'll generally find apps that look modern, as UI is pretty important to me. I know there aren't too many "Linux with Pretty UI" lists, so here's this one. Let me know if there are any you'd add!

A new alternative to free and open source download managers like XDM, Motrix or ImFile. Not as mature as them yet but goes in the right direction and has a clean an modern looking interface already. They also have an active Telegram group to discuss issues and features.
I was looking for an alternative to JDownloader2, but AB Download Manager completely failed at this task—it can't even perform the most basic operations, such as downloading videos from YouTube. Instead, it downloads an .html file...
AB Download Manager does not support downloading videos from YouTube due to legal reasons.
positives{Gui, quick setup, offical browser integratiton, android port} negatives{linux unfriendly, bad for serfer devicers (include home servers)} notures{sill supporting, independed action libaries(some projects uses aria for this), linux unnfriendly(yes this again becaue linunx community not have sandboxless flatpak alternative)}
Garbage. Every single download task from every single website ended with downloading .html or .php file instead of requested file.
are you trying to download a YT videos buddy?😂 use yt-dlp for that
I like it. Easy to use. After 15 years of using IDM, I think I've finally found a good replacement. There are some UI bugs, like padding and margins, but that is nothing.
AB Download Manager is perfectly well designed compared to almost all other download managers. Works perfectly on macos
It has a clean, user-friendly interface. It does not automatically detect video streams when playing videos in browsers, requiring users to manually find and add source URLs for video downloads. It currently does not offer a site grabber feature.
