I wasn't able to attach a PDF directly to a email message (gmail) because of the size of the file (25 MB). I found out that the problem was the Microsoft Print to PDF software that was creating a 28 MB file from a cropped 2 MB file! This program is definitely better: it generated a 4 MB file. I still don't know why the file size is increasing when I'm reducing the number of pages, but it's working.
On its installation folder you will find: •GoogleAnalytics.exe •Announcements.exe •Telemetry.dll And other telemetry files that my firewall doesn't like :/
doPDF shows advertisement if connected to internet (as also mentioned on developer's website on comparison page free vs. paid product) and it is connected to GoogleAnalytics
I used this in Win7 a lot. But Win10 comes with "Microsoft Print to PDF", so it might not be as useful anymore.
The other thing about this program is that it likes to notify you of updates regularly and even if you turn it off, it will still come up. You have to disable the scheduler in startup.
On the contrary of what is stated, doPDF depends on .NET . At least on the most recent versions.
Very buggy (on Win7). After installed i could not use it for printer replace because all the time failed. Finally, when i wanted uninstall it, again problems. The good new is they achieved the Microsoft Certified Partner. Lucky of me !.
Most of pdf printers allow to print into A4/Legal/Lettre/etc but not into specific sizes. = doPDF can do that on a very easy way !
