Document Library Pro information
What is Document Library Pro?
Document Library Pro is a tool for creating searchable, organized document libraries where visitors can find and download files quickly. Instead of dumping links onto a page, you can display documents in a structured table or grid with columns for things like title, file type, category, date, and download links.
It includes powerful search and filtering so users can narrow down large collections by keyword, category, or custom criteria, useful for resource hubs, knowledge bases, research papers, manuals, price lists, case studies, or any situation where you need to manage and present a lot of files. You can add documents individually or import them in bulk via CSV, and each document can have its own metadata, preview, and access settings.
Other features include lazy loading for fast performance with large libraries, customizable layouts, restricted access options to control who can view or download specific files, and links to documents hosted anywhere, whether locally, on cloud storage, or external sites.
Document Library Pro works on any website. Use it as a hosted service that embeds into Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, Google Sites, a custom site or an internal intranet, or as a WordPress plugin. Extra options include in-browser preview of PDFs and Office files, downloading several files at once as a ZIP, a choice of table, grid or folder layouts, a front-end submission form so people can upload their own documents, and email capture before download for lead generation.
