What is Cloak Proxy?

Cloak Proxy captures, decrypts, changes and replays the HTTP, HTTPS, WebSocket and gRPC traffic of your Mac, iPhone, Android devices, simulators and code. It is a native Swift app, free for life with no account.

Debugging tools: breakpoints that pause and edit requests and responses, Map Local and Map Remote, no-code rewrite rules, JavaScript scripting, network conditions, block and allow lists, DNS spoofing and mock sets. Every rule can match a header, a JSON value or a single GraphQL operation.

Built-in API client: collections, environments, tests, a collection runner, mock servers, load tests and flows for HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSocket, Socket.IO, MQTT and more, saved as plain files you can keep in Git. Imports Postman, OpenAPI, Insomnia, HAR and .http files.

Beyond inspection: an LLM Inspector that shows the tokens, cost and prompt-cache misses of AI model calls; an authorization matrix that replays captured traffic as other users to find broken access control; live checks against your OpenAPI spec; release diffs; failure scenarios; and bug reports with a replayable flow.

It also works as an MCP server, so AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code can read traffic, set up mocks and check API contracts. A command-line tool runs it headless in CI.
