    Apache NetBeans vs Brackets Comments

Netbeans is a IDE. Not a editor.

While NetBeans does satisfy nearly every use case for Brackets, and while Brackets can legitimately be considered an IDE AND editor, NetBeans is a full, purpose-built IDE, while Brackets is a semi-IDE, falling somewhere between IDE and editor. NetBeans can, therefore, be a viable alternative to Brackets, but the overlap between IDE and editor uses are not fully compatible between the two.
