Simplistic modeling, excellent UV mapping interface, obj and gltf/glb export, great mouse interface.

Buggy but the best free and simple 3d modeler.

Why work on another project when you can contribute to an already great one (Blender) and improve upon it, I am sure that there are tons of feature that the developer of this free open source could've added to the community without having to reinvent the wheel, unless they have a different vision and philosophy for 3D that I am not aware of.

Basically an alternative version of Blender but more accessible to beginners and less reliant on shortcuts. If you don't know about 3D Modeling but want Blender but not want a difficult experience this is for you.

Because it is easy to use just like Maya. You can also call this Maya alternative but free to own. License GNU which is best feature of this app.

It does compositing too. If this isn't an alternative, you might want to take Nuke off as well
