What is Bitmatch?

BitMatch is a free, open-source app for backing up camera cards. Pick a card, pick your drives, and press Start. BitMatch reads the card once, writes every drive at the same time, then reads each copy back from the drive and checks it against the card, so you know the backup is really there before you format the card.

Features: • Copy to as many drives as you like in one pass • Four verification modes, from a quick copy to byte-by-byte (SHA-256 and MD5) • A card queue: plug in the next card while one copies; each card shows its own progress and result • Camera-aware folders for Sony, Canon, ARRI, RED, Blackmagic, Panasonic, Fujifilm, GoPro, DJI, Insta360 and DCIM cards • Project transfers for shoots with several cameras and cards • PDF, CSV and JSON reports, ASC MHL records, and a daily master report • Check a backup later against the card or a saved checksum list • Recognizes cards you've already backed up, and warns when two destinations are on the same physical drive

There's no subscription, no account and no tracking. iPhone and iPad versions share the same design and can be built from source.
