Roughly as easy to set up as a commercial VPN, even counting buying a VPS, you don't need much of technical knowledge.
Great at bypassing censorship. The AmneziaWG protocol provides a stable and fast connection. Bye bye DPI.
Pros • There is split tunneling. • Supports vless:-keys — XRay protocol (stronger than ss:).
Cons: • Does not support vgc://-configuration keys. • Destination folder cannot be specified during installation. • Installing the application broke Proton VPN, which started working again only after uninstalling Amnezia VPN (of course, either one or the other application was launched). • Confusing interface with inconsistent headers and a hidden exit button. • VPN Generator profile picked up, connected, but did not change IP. That is, the version relevant on 2024-11-15 in case of vpn.works did not work. • After disabling white and black lists of sites and applications, the application stopped connecting at all. • The application is open source, but there is no mobile version on F-Droid. This is suspicious.
