What is Agendling?

Agendling is a small open-source desktop calendar that runs in the system tray. It syncs two-way with any number of CalDAV accounts (Nextcloud, Fastmail, iCloud, Radicale, Baïkal and others) and also supports local calendars that never leave the computer. Events from all calendars are shown together, colour-coded, in day, week, two-week and month views.

Reminders appear as always-on-top popups with the event's description and clickable meeting links. They can play a custom MP3 or WAV sound that stops instantly with one click, and can be snoozed. When a sync brings in a meeting that wasn't there before, such as a new invitation, Agendling shows a separate "new event" alert.

The Windows version is a single native executable of about 16 MB that uses around 26 MB of RAM and no CPU while idle; no installer or runtime is needed. The Linux version uses GTK 3. Passwords are stored encrypted, and the app has no telemetry or accounts. Released under the MIT license.
