Claude Code adds cross-session messaging for better workflow
Claude Code now supports messaging between user sessions, letting users share summaries and context for tasks without repeating information.
This update also allows querying another session for answers from within your active session. Claude can independently notify other sessions when recent changes may impact ongoing work.
The new features are available for macOS and Linux users.

This is a really useful feature, especially when working on larger projects across multiple Claude Code sessions. Being able to share context between sessions instead of explaining everything again could save a lot of time. Unfortunately, it’s not available on Windows yet, which is what I use. I’ll definitely be waiting for Windows support.
