WebStorm 2026.2 supports TypeScript 7 and adds native Copilot integration

WebStorm 2026.2 is now available, featuring built-in support for TypeScript 7 to deliver much faster type checking and improved project load times, especially in large codebases.

The release also integrates GitHub Copilot natively, so users can access AI coding assistance without separate plugins or setup.

A new agent skills manager allows reusable AI knowledge across sessions, and there is full React 19 support and ecosystem updates for Vue and Svelte.
