Nextcloud Hub 26 Spring launches with Euro-Office and AI updates on its 10th anniversary

Nextcloud Hub 26 Spring has been launched, marking the project’s 10th anniversary with new interface updates, new office suite options, expanded collaboration tools, and improvements across Talk, Deck, Tables, and Assistant. The update adds a lighter design, a focused waffle menu for app access, softer navigation styling, and a redesigned right sidebar.

Nextcloud Office now adds Euro-Office as a second default office suite alongside the Collabora based option, with AIO users able to switch between both. Euro-Office supports collaborative editing, Microsoft Office document compatibility, mobile editing from iOS and Android, better browser performance, reduced server load, Smart Picker, Nextcloud Assistant, and file conversion. The Collabora based suite adds an AI chat sidebar, configurable AI features, a customizable status bar, improved presentation tools, and spreadsheet updates.

Nextcloud Talk adds avatar based calls, Voice Rooms, conversation sorting, tagging, private replies, improved noise suppression, multi account desktop support, and automatic updates. Deck adds card dependencies, Gantt charts, team assignments, and more customizable planning tools, while Nextcloud Assistant now uses Unified Search through Context Agent, supports more app data and mobile actions, and can be dragged and resized.
