Sparky 8.3 delivers package updates and latest kernels for Debian 13 users
Sparky 8.3 has been released as a quarterly update, featuring refreshed packages from both Debian and Sparky repositories as of May 9, 2026.
Major software updates include Linux kernel 6.12.86-LTS, LibreOffice 25.2.3, KDE Plasma 6.3.6, and Firefox 140.10.2esr.
The distribution remains based on Debian 13 "Trixie" and continues to support both AMD64 and ARM64 architectures.
