ONLYOFFICE Docs 10.0 launches with context-aware AI across pretty much all its editors

ONLYOFFICE has released Docs 10.0, bringing one of its biggest updates yet with more than 50 new features and a major expansion of AI capabilities across its document, spreadsheet, presentation, and PDF editors. A new AI Tools tab provides access to AI chat and features that use the context of an open file to summarize and rewrite text, generate formulas, analyze datasets, create presentation outlines, and answer questions about PDFs.

The release also introduces configurable Quick AI actions and assistants that can respond to changes as users edit documents, along with reusable prompts for common tasks. Users can choose different AI models for specific tasks, with cloud accounts accessing ONLYOFFICE's AI service through Wallet funds and server deployments supporting external or locally hosted models. AI tools are now installed separately in open source editions, while a new modular approach lets users add optional apps such as AI agents, Forms, Rooms, and Files.

Beyond AI, Docs 10.0 adds PDF metadata removal, automatic table recognition, and reusable signatures, while document collaboration now supports following another user's cursor in real time. Spreadsheets receive performance improvements for large workbooks and commonly used functions, and the Presentation Editor gains five new viewing modes alongside GIF and video export.
