ONLYOFFICE Documents 9.0 for mobile adds OCR, DocSpace version history & Markdown viewing

ONLYOFFICE Documents 9.0 for Android and iOS introduces OCR support, enabling users to extract and edit text from scanned PDFs and screenshots. It also expands file compatibility with support for Markdown (.md) and OpenDocument Graphics (.odg), and allows access to password-protected PDFs on devices running Android 15 or newer.

The update enhances DocSpace integration with version history from DocSpace v3.1, letting users view and restore past document versions. In Virtual Data Rooms, forms can now be filled based on assigned roles, and custom filter views improve collaboration on shared spreadsheets.

Users can also save existing rooms as templates for reuse, now organized in a dedicated Templates section. Interface updates include a redesigned tabbed layout, a toolbar drawing tool, and an adaptive app icon that follows Android color themes (Android 13+).
