Cursor 1.2 adds agent-generated to-dos, queued tasks, and merge conflict help
Cursor 1.2 adds agent-generated to-do lists for structuring and tracking complex tasks, which update as work progresses. These lists are visible in chat and can sync with Slack if integrated. Users can also queue follow-up messages while an agent is busy, enabling task reordering and smoother workflows. Additionally, agents can now help resolve merge conflicts directly from the chat interface.
Pull Requests are now indexed and summarized like files, allowing semantic search and direct access to issues, commits, or branches. This includes support for GitHub comments, BugBot reviews, and Slack integration, improving workflows for postmortems and incident analysis.
Other improvements include general availability of the Memories feature with UI enhancements and user approval controls, better codebase search via new embeddings and prompt tuning, and faster tab completions, now ~100ms quicker thanks to optimized memory and data handling.
