n8n Cloud now supports community-built nodes with in-editor installation
n8n Cloud users now have access to community and partner-built nodes, a feature previously limited to self-hosted deployments. Starting with version 1.94.0, these integrations can be installed directly from the workflow canvas, removing the need to visit external sites or search on npm, as nodes are now accessible through the Nodes panel in the editor.
Following this, verified nodes are manually reviewed for quality and security and are marked by a shield icon for user assurance. An initial set of around 25 nodes prioritizes MIT-licensed packages without external dependencies. Integrations available at launch include Tavily, Straker, Pdforge, SOCRadar, Beyond Presence, Browserflow, and Mallabe. Use cases range from generating PDFs and QR codes to AI agent enrichment and boosting LinkedIn engagement.
While specialized nodes like ElevenLabs enable voice-powered workflows in 32 languages, the SerpApi node provides scraping and parsing of results from over 20 search engines to support tasks such as SEO monitoring or large language model training. A Brave Search node is also planned, bringing real-time data options for AI workflows.
