Tuta Calendar introduces improved repeat rules, a three-day view, calendar names, and more

Tuta, the company behind Tuta Mail and Tuta Calendar, has announced a series of updates to enhance both products. Tuta Calendar now offers advanced repeat rules for event management, allowing users to set events to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or annually. Additionally, a three-day view has been introduced for better usability, especially on mobile devices. Shared calendar users can now benefit from calendar names in event previews, making it easier to identify events from different calendars.

Tuta Mail is not left behind, and is set to receive updates aimed at improving email organization and interface intuitiveness. The upcoming changes will include an optimized conversation view for grouping emails, faster mailbox loading, and enhanced search capabilities across devices. The development team is also working on implementing partial text search in multiple languages, as well as a Tuta Calendar widget on F-Droid, Android, and iOS platforms.

I admit that I am a Proton fan, but I am still impressed that Tuta is still working hard. The DDOS attacks they experienced did shock me a bit, and it would take a lot for me to leave Proton's ecosystem... but mad respect for their core services. Glad we can all coexist together in our fight for digital privacy!
