Apple Intelligence will launch on Vision Pro with visionOS 2.4, expanding language support
Apple has revealed that its Apple Intelligence features will be integrated into the Vision Pro with the upcoming release of visionOS 2.4 in April. Developers can start testing these features now with the beta version. The initial AI capabilities for Vision Pro include Writing Tools for summarizing, rewriting, and proofreading, Image Playground for AI image generation, and Genmoji for creating custom AI-generated emojis and stickers.
Initially, Apple Intelligence will support only English, with plans to expand to more languages throughout 2025. Future AI features for Vision Pro will include Priority Notifications, Smart Reply, AI-generated summaries, and Memory Movies creation in Apple Photos. Additionally, a new Spatial Gallery app exclusive to Vision Pro will feature spatial videos, photos, and branded content. An upcoming iPhone app will allow users to remotely manage apps and games on their Vision Pro and access a library of nearly 300 3D movies. VisionOS 2.4 will also enhance Guest User Mode, enabling guest sessions to be initiated via iPhone or iPad and controlled remotely.
Apple Intelligence will also expand to support more languages with the release of iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, including French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese, as well as localized English for Singapore and India. It's also worth noting that, for the first time, Apple Intelligence features will be available to iPhone and iPad users in the European Union with the upcoming software updates.
