Google launches the Gemini 3 powered Nano Banana Pro Image model for all users

Google has introduced Gemini 3 Pro Image or Nano Banana Pro its new image creation and editing model. It combines Gemini’s reasoning with live Google Search data to generate context aware visuals, including images based on real time weather or sports information. The model improves text rendering with richer fonts, textures, and calligraphy, supports multilingual text, and can blend up to 14 images while keeping accurate resemblance for up to five people.

Compared to the previous version, the new model offers precise editing tools that let users refine specific regions, adjust camera angles, focus, lighting, scene composition, and apply color grading, while also improving image realism compared to the older model. It supports many aspect ratios with output up to 4K resolution. Developer pricing starts at 0.134 dollars per image for 1K or 2K and 0.24 dollars for 4K.

Gemini 3 Pro Image is rolling out across Google products, including the Google Gemini app where free users get limited generations and paid AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra tiers get higher limits. It is also available for NotebookLM subscribers globally, Google AI Ultra users in Google Flow, and in AI Mode in Google Search in the US, with upcoming support for Google Ads, Google Slides, Google Vids, Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and the recently launched Google Antigravity IDE.
