Buffer launches Community, a free hub to manage all social media comments in one place

Buffer has launched Community, a workspace that centralizes comments from LinkedIn, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, and Bluesky. It is available on all plans, including the free tier for up to three channels. Comments appear in a single queue and stay visible until users reply or dismiss them, with filters for unanswered, newest, oldest, or resolved items. Community also lets users turn replies or audience comments into new post ideas.

Comment Insights, currently in beta, highlights recurring questions and active discussion topics across connected platforms. The Comment Score system tracks consistency, reply speed, and response rate, giving users a score from 0 to 100 to monitor engagement habits. Buffer reports that replying to comments boosts engagement across platforms, with the highest gains on Threads and LinkedIn.

Upcoming additions include TikTok support, more platforms, Smart AI Triage for automatic categorization, custom rule sorting, natural language insights, and a Superfans feature that identifies highly engaged followers.
