Vivaldi 7.1 for iOS & Android brings built-in translation tool, improved Speed Dial & more
Vivaldi has rolled out its 7.1 version for iOS and Android, following the desktop release last week. The iOS update introduces a built-in translation tool, powered by Lingvanex, enabling translation of web pages or selected text into over 100 languages. A new Speed Dial dialog displays sections for popular and frequently visited sites, facilitating quicker access. Users can now save favorite sites more efficiently and choose from new default search engines, including Startpage, Ecosia, DuckDuckGo, and Qwant. The Send Tab to Device feature also allows seamless tab sharing across Vivaldi-enabled devices.
Android users receive similar updates, with the addition of an enhanced reader view and a new tab search functionality in the tab switcher. The start page has been improved with a Reopen Start Page option, offering customizable browsing session starts. The update also brings various enhancements and bug fixes to both mobile platforms.
