Kali Linux 2024.3 introduces major updates with 11 new hacking tools including graudit for source code auditing, gsocket for cross-network communication, and hekatomb for domain-wide credential extraction the release also bolsters Raspberry Pi support, now compatible with the Raspberry Pi 4 Compute Module Wi-Fi and Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM845 SoC devices.
This version adds essential tools such as mxcheck for scanning email servers, sqlmc for domain URL SQL injection checks, and netexec for automating extensive network security assessments. Netscanner debuts as a modern TUI network scanner and diagnostic tool, streamlining network analysis. The update also integrates Linux kernel 6.6 LTS support for the Raspberry Pi 5 and reverts to Linux 6.1 LTS for better Pinebook compatibility. Enhanced Bloodhound integration includes sprayhound, a password spraying tool, for improved network vulnerability exploitation.
Kali NetHunter 2024.3 now supports Qualcomm Snapdragon SDM845 SoC devices, enhancing mobile penetration testing capabilities. USBArmory devices gain DHCP server support, improving network configuration flexibility on ARM-based systems. The update also introduces Obsidian, a popular tool for flexible hacking notes and strategies, and build script updates, including QEMU_CPU=cortex-a72 support, which speed up ARM64 image building on ARM64 hosts.
