
Figma alternative Penpot releases version 2.1 with enhanced auth and many improvements
Penpot, the free and open-source alternative to Figma for web and UI designers, has just released its version 2.1, three months after its significant 2.0 update. This latest version brings several improvements and bug fixes.
Key updates include an enhanced authentication process and the addition of locking degrees increment (while holding shift) on path edition. The update also introduces persistence and concurrent edition enhancements, and the ability for library colors to be used as recent colors. Furthermore, the scroll and comments in view mode have been improved, and misaligned input on comments has been fixed.
Penpot 2.1 also includes various other enhancements and numerous bug fixes, aiming to provide a smoother and more efficient user experience.
