
Penpot 2.0 update brings Grid CSS Layout, New Components System, a Redesigned UI and more!
Penpot, a popular free open-source design and prototyping tool for UI/UX Design, has released its latest update, Penpot 2.0. This update introduces a range of new features and improvements, positioning Penpot as a strong alternative to Figma or Lunacy.
Key features of Penpot 2.0 include the Grid CSS layout feature, which allows users to use columns and rows for responsive element distribution, improving interface layout capabilities and developer workflows. There's also a new robust Components System for efficient element reuse across projects, an HTML Code Generation feature for consistent aspect ratios, and a feature for easy component swapping.
