GitHub for Copilot Enterprise has enhanced pull requests, discussions, and code insights

GitHub has released its June update for GitHub Copilot Enterprise, incorporating several features, including Copilot's new ability to help users understand pull requests, discussions, and recent file changes. Developers can now ask Copilot questions directly from the pull request tab on GitHub.com and receive summaries and overviews of the changes.

In addition to pull request summaries, Copilot can now provide concise overviews of discussions, allowing users to quickly grasp key points and solutions. This feature is particularly useful for developers navigating complex conversations. Users can also open a file on GitHub and ask Copilot about recent changes, receiving detailed explanations that are especially helpful for unfamiliar files.

Copilot Enterprise has also been integrated with Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code since last month. Developers using Visual Studio Code and Visual Studio 17.11 Preview 2 or later can now get answers from their entire codebase through Copilot. Additionally, Copilot can pull information from the web, offering comprehensive support within the development environment.
