Gemini 3.6 Flash now available in GitHub Copilot for coding tasks
Gemini 3.6 Flash, Google’s newest AI model, has been introduced to GitHub Copilot for coding and agentic workflows.
The update brings configurable reasoning effort, parallel tool support, and improved performance compared to Gemini 3.5 Flash.
Gemini 3.6 Flash can be accessed by Copilot Pro, Max, Business, and Enterprise users across supported IDEs, with gradual rollout and usage-based billing.
