Google Tasks enhances task management with new Kanban view in web interface

Google Tasks has recently added a Kanban view to enhance task management in its web interface, as reported by Tool Finder. The Kanban mode, accessible through Google Calendar, allows users to organize their starred tasks in different columns with internal task listings, similar to platforms like Trello or Asana.

The new design lets users navigate between task cards by dragging and dropping, a change from the previous sidebar access requirement. The update also includes a full-modal interface for task creation, allowing uninterrupted input of all necessary details.

This new feature provides an official solution to other popular third-party alternatives like Google TasksBoard, which also offers the Kanban format within the Google Tasks app. Google hasn't officially confirmed its availability to all users yet, but you can try it now by accessing the tasks section through Google Calendar on the web.
