OpenAI expands ChatGPT search to all users with voice commands & rich media previews
OpenAI has expanded access to ChatGPT Search, making it available to all ChatGPT users, including those on the free tier. This update allows users to perform searches on the platform, provided they are logged in with a ChatGPT account.
The new features include rich media previews with embedded images, links, and videos, enabling users to watch videos directly within ChatGPT. Additionally, detailed business maps and restaurant information are available for real-time decision-making. The integration of Advanced Voice Mode with ChatGPT Search introduces voice command capabilities, offering a more intuitive and hands-free search experience.
ChatGPT Search can also be integrated into browsers and set as the default search engine through its extension, providing an alternative to traditional search engines like Google Search or Microsoft Bing.
