ChatGPT comes to Microsoft Word with drafting and edits
ChatGPT can now be added to Microsoft Word, where it can turn notes into drafts, revise difficult passages, proofread text, suggest edits, and flag formatting issues.
The Word integration is available across ChatGPT plans, including Free, subject to usage limits.
ChatGPT is also available in PowerPoint and Excel, while Business and Enterprise users can preview GPT-5.6 Sol in Word free from September 17 through September 30, without affecting usage limits.
