Spotify enhances audiobook experience with author pages, video clips, sleep timer & more

Spotify has unveiled a suite of new features for its audiobook section, aimed at enhancing author engagement. These includes Author Pages, offering dedicated profiles with biographical details and full catalogs, and Video Clips for audiobooks, where authors and publishers can provide insights through short videos

Additionally, there's also a new Sleep Timer for audiobooks, allowing Premium users to set playback limits that fit their bedtime routines. Audiobook Countdown Pages let users save upcoming releases to their library and track their availability, while the Follow-Along Feature introduces synchronized visuals to enrich storytelling. Users can also create Audiobook Playlists, with editorial recommendations from Spotify’s audiobook team.

These features are currently available to Spotify Premium users in regions such as the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Canada, France, Belgium, Ireland, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Luxembourg, accessible only through the mobile app and limited to select authors and publishers.
