Tutanota reintroduces family option in Revolutionary and Legend email plans

Tutanota, the renowned privacy-centric email service, has recently announced the reintroduction of its family option. This feature was previously available but was removed when Tutanota rolled out its new pricing plans – Revolutionary, Legend, Essential, Advanced, and Unlimited.

The multi-user booking option was eliminated from the personal plans, Revolutionary and Legend, due to confusion amongst users. Many were mistaking the option to create email alias addresses for booking additional users.

However, Tutanota is now reversing this decision. Users wishing to book multiple accounts can do so by contacting the dedicated support team via the question mark icon located to the left of their mailbox. Upon request, the support team will enable multi-user booking for the account.

Once the family option is activated, users can add family members to their Tutanota plan. Each added family member will receive the same amount of storage and aliases, and will be charged at the same annual or monthly rate that the primary user paid when upgrading to either the Revolutionary or Legend plan.
