Apple unveils major updates to Final Cut Pro for both Mac and iPad
Apple has revealed updates to the Final Cut Pro software for both Mac and iPad, introducing new features aimed at streamlining workflows. The updates offer enhancements to timeline navigation and organization, and introduce new methods to simplify complex editing tasks. The software now utilizes the power-efficient performance of Apple Silicon and features a new machine learning model for the Object Tracker. Additionally, export speeds have been significantly increased on Mac models that are powered by multiple media engines.
For iPad users, Final Cut Pro has been upgraded with several new features to improve the Multi-Touch editing experience. These include support for voiceover recording, expanded in-app content options, additional color-grading presets, and workflow enhancements. The updates to Final Cut Pro will be made available on the App Store later this month.
