Adobe unveils three new Generative AI models: Firefly Image 2, Vector, and Design

Adobe has introduced the evolution of Adobe Firefly, divided into three new generative AI models: Firefly Image 2, Firefly Vector, and Firefly Design. These models enhance the text-to-image capabilities of applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Express, and Adobe Photoshop.

Firefly Image 2 is noted for its ability to produce high-quality images with enhanced details in elements like hair, skin texture, facial features, and more. It also offers AI-powered editing options, including depth of field adjustments and text description enhancements. The model includes a "Generative Match" feature that allows users to copy specific image styles and assign content credentials to AI-generated images.

In the other hand, Adobe's Firefly Vector is the world's first generative AI model for vector graphics, making it perfect for scalable design elements. It has been trained on licensed and public domain content to guarantee its safety for commercial use. The Firefly Vector model is currently available for testing in the Adobe Illustrator beta.

The third model, Firefly Design, creates customizable templates for a range of uses, including print, social media, online advertising, and video. Users can specify their requirements, and the model generates editable templates in popular aspect ratios.

The new updated AI models are currently available in beta and are expected to be available for general use soon. These advancements align with Adobe's commitment to Generative AI capabilities, which have been integrated into several top apps from the company recently.
