Xpadder turns joypad (and joystick, steering wheel, etc) input into keyboard or mouse output. X360ce turns similar input into XInput output, enabling recent games (which nearsightedly assume Xbox controllers are the only thing that exist) to work with the other hardware. But it won't help for games that have no joypad input to begin with, and doesn't have as advanced a remapping system.
