What is WriteNext?
Boost your writing with the WriteNext Writing Facilitator application. We're studying the writing process of pro writers and sharing the findings with you. With WriteNext you can set daily writing goals of words and time and just start writing. It tracks every letter you type, saves content automatically and helps you make progress towards your goal. Afterwards, you can find more insights on your performance and with the help of writing trends you can improve the way you write.
All writings are not only secured but also encrypted. Privacy is a key feature of WriteNext so you can be sure that your ideas can't be stolen and deciphered by anyone else.
There are tons of different applications that can be used for writing. The main two applications used by writers are without doubts Apple Notes and Google Docs. Unfortunately, both fail in helping writer to write better, frequently, and to achieve their writing goals. Here is where WriteNext comes by providing a writing facilitator that separates writing from other actions and keeps us focused, with no other distractions or cues that are triggers for other types of actions.
The website is still up and running, but Twitter said "it's going to shut down on November 01 2020 but found someone interested in taking over" but no news came ever since then. The Facebook page was last updated in 2021.

I started to use WriteNext and I love the way it motivates me with badges the more I write. The distractions-free mode also helps me to focus and write more without opening that Twitter/Facebook tab.
