What is Workhand?
Workhand is a job management app built for small construction crews under 15 people. It replaces the pile of spreadsheets, group texts, paper receipts, and separate accounting tools that most small builders juggle. One app on your phone runs the whole job: estimates with sign-on-glass e-signature, invoices with in-app card, ACH, and Apple Pay via Stripe Connect (2.9% + 30 cents, zero platform markup), time tracking, per-job profit dashboards, subcontractor management with COI expiration alerts (30, 14, 7 days), AI receipt scanner powered by Claude Vision, and one-tap chat translation between English, Spanish, and Portuguese for mixed-language crews.
Built for pool builders, HVAC contractors, plumbers, electricians, roofers, general contractors, remodelers, painters, and landscapers. Full desktop dashboard also available at dashboard.workhand.app for office staff. Free forever plan (no credit card), Pro at $34.99/month, Team at $89.99/month.
Built solo by Andrew Bernardo in Tampa, Florida, who also runs day operations at a $1M/year pool building company.
