Preinstalled in Windows 10 Creators Update, but doesn’t show the temperature value on the color slider, Needs the system’s location service to be enabled in order to function, the transition to nighttime colors isn’t as gradual and smooth as it is when using f.lux

it is preinstalled on windows 10 but

  • doesn’t show the temperature value on the color slider (i.e. in Kelvins)
  • requires the system’s location service to be enabled and used frequently in order to function properly
  • the transition to nighttime colors isn’t as gradual and smooth as it is when using f.lux
  • Doesn't start automatically on startup
