    Good open source app based on OpenStreetMap, but I prefer Organic Maps, which I find more lightweight and easier to use.

    I use it on a Windows phone (Windows 10). It has the possibility to chose vehicle: Pedestrian/bicycle/car, you really plan routes without Internet (of course you have to download maps first, it cannot with Windows maps!).
