Wacchi keeps two numbers in your Mac's menu bar, one above the other: the power your Mac is drawing from its charger right now, and the most that charger can give it.
The top number is what comes in from the charger to the whole Mac, not what goes into the battery. So it does not drop to 0W when macOS holds the battery at its charge limit — your Mac keeps drawing power from the charger, and Wacchi shows it.
Open the menu to see the charger's name next to the wattage your Mac and the charger actually agreed on. A 96W charger stuck at 60W points at the cable or the port. The menu also shows whether the Mac is charging, held at the charge limit, fully charged or on battery, and the battery level.
It only reads the current values, every two seconds. No history, no charts, and nothing written to disk. No Dock icon, no account, no analytics. The only settings are launch at login, the language (English / Japanese) and which rows the menu shows.
