One of the top CASE Programs up there with visio.

Pros:

  • lots of options, ERD, DFD, ST diagram, UML, JIT, etc...
  • time saving features, not just another stupid vector diagram tool.
  • lots of import / export options.

Cons:

  • Expensive licence ($2000 USD) for the enterprise edition which has all the good stuff, from the point of view of a small team, personal user, student.
  • Annoying water marks running diagonally all over the generated Diagrams images.
  • Community edition is really poor in features.
  • No reasonably priced option for Personal / individual use, small teams or students.
  • Really slow to launch, to be expected from a java program.
  • visio or any other free online tools are a better alternative price wise.

The best and feature-rich UML tool in the market! Nice supports and excellent agile development features such as Scrum /Sprint process management. , especially, the Community Edition, not like other free tools imposed with a lots of restriction and limitation. It is genuinely free & with lots of good feature
