Valour is an open source, free discord-like chat platform with extra tab features, more privacy, official theme support, and more in the works, and it's getting better by the day!

The ability to make your own custom themes by editing the CSS is amazing. The Dev is great to chat with and listens to feedback, it might be rough around the edges but he's doing his best to fix issues.

Community-friendly Discord Alternatives

An unbiased directory of Discord alternative platforms. Categorized, and listed in alphabetical order. Viewers browse and make up their own mind. What this is not: A list of Matrix clients. Why? While the Matrix protocol is excellent in decentralization and E2EE, it is not for your average user. It is a highly technical platform. A biased, curated list with personal opinions and custom descriptions. All products are categorized and listed alphabetically.
