UptimeAlien information
What is UptimeAlien?
UptimeAlien watches your infrastructure and tells you the moment something breaks — with a strong focus on data protection and no third-party tracking of your monitoring data.
Eleven monitor types, one dashboard. Websites and HTTP endpoints (status code, response time, availability), TCP ports for databases, SMTP or SSH, UDP services with payload/response checks, ping/ICMP, DNS resolution, keyword checks that assert an expected string is present (or absent), JSON health endpoints with individually evaluated sub-checks, multi-step API flows with status and content assertions, SSL certificate expiry with alerts 1–90 days ahead, domain expiry pulled straight from the registry via RDAP, and cron/heartbeat monitors that fire when a scheduled job stops checking in. Paid plans check as often as every 60 seconds.
More than "up or down." Set a latency threshold per monitor and a slow service is flagged as degraded long before it goes fully down. Outages are only reported after several consecutive failed checks, so a brief hiccup won't page you at 3 a.m.
Alerts in 12 channels. Email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, generic webhooks, ntfy, Gotify, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, MQTT, PushPig, and push notifications through the Android app.
Error tracking included. Send exceptions from your production apps and UptimeAlien groups identical errors automatically, counts occurrences and keeps stack trace, tags and context on the detail view — so you see what failed, not just that something failed.
Status pages and teams. Publish live status, uptime ratios and incident history on your own URL, with custom branding on the Team plan. Invite your team and grant granular per-person permissions, from read-only to full management. Logins are protected by passkeys and two-factor authentication.
Privacy first. GDPR-compliant, with a full data export and self-service account deletion built into the dashboard. Servers are located in Germany.
