What is StatusCake?
StatusCake.com is a free website monitoring tool which allows users to track up to 10 websites and get alerted when their site is down or is having trouble. Downtime root cause analysis is included in the free plan to help users diagnose and fix issues.
Users can choose how to receive alerts in the way most convenient for them, whether by email, SMS or one of the many third-party apps that StatusCake integrates with such as Slack, Telegram, Discord, PushBullet and many more.
The StatusCake free community plan also includes a page-speed test. This enables website owners to monitor how quickly their site loads for visitors, and use the detailed report to find improvements to improve page load time, and the visitor experience.
The free StatusCake account is free for life. All users are "grandfathered" in on sign-up, meaning that they will never have anything taken away from them.
Users wishing to try premium features such as more regular check-rates to capture the small of downtime, or select from one of many global locations where their website is checked for downtime, can sign-up for a free trial. No credit card is required to sign-up for a trial. Other features included on paid plans include server monitoring, domain monitoring, SSL monitoring, and malware scanning. The price you pay for your plan is locked in for life on sign-up.

I love their unlimited tests and modern design, etc. but right now, none of my monitors have ran for the past 6 hours. I put a note into support and no one has seen it for 2 hours. Seems like a small team, but when it comes to something as serious as this they should be more on top of it.
I wouldn't know what else to recommend though... everyone else has such insane pricing.
Seems like it was fixed within minutes of me notifying them on twitter... so that's a plus, I think....
