What is Pingory?

Pingory is uptime monitoring for indie developers and small teams who don't want to pay enterprise prices for a 60-second check.

What it does:

  • HTTP/HTTPS checks with status code, response time and redirect expectations
  • Keyword checks, plus API checks with header and JSON assertions
  • TCP port, Ping (ICMP), DNS record, SSL certificate expiry and domain (WHOIS) expiry monitoring
  • Heartbeat / cron dead-man switch — your job pings us, we alert when it goes quiet
  • Public status pages with a custom slug, an optional custom domain and white-labelling
  • Alerts via Email, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty and generic Webhooks
  • A REST API for pulling monitor state into your own tooling
  • An interface in 8 languages, with a dark mode

Pricing: Free (50 monitors, 5-minute checks), Starter $4/mo (100 monitors, 1-minute checks), Pro $6/mo (unlimited monitors, 30-second checks). Annual billing costs $40 / $60.

Open source and self-hostable: the whole thing is AGPL-3.0 and runs as a single Node.js process plus PostgreSQL, with Docker Compose included. Self-hosting also lets you add your own probe nodes in other regions and require them to agree before alerting, so one flaky network path does not page you at night.
